Criteria

• Anorexia nervosa:

- deliberate weight loss induced and sustained by the patient, associated with an intensive and overvalued dread of fatness and flabbiness of body contours.

• Bulimia:

- repeated bouts of overeating and an excessive preoccupation with body weight, leading to a pattern of overeating followed by induced vomiting or use of purgatives
