• fundamental and characteristic distortions of thinking, perception and affect that are inappropriate or blunted (eg. thought-echo, -insertion, -withdrawal, delusional perceptions, hallucinatory voices, delusions of control), together with a clear consciousness and unaffected intellectual capacity.
