• myocardial infarction specified as acute or within 4 weeks (28 days) of onset

Exclusions

• old/healed myocardial infarction (Ischaemic heart disease with angina) K74
• old/healed myocardial infarction (Ischaemic heart disease without angina) K76

Criteria

• chest pain characteristic of myocardial ischemia, lasting more than 15 minutes, and/or abnormal ST-T changes or new Q-waves in electrocardiogram and/or elevation of blood cardiac enzymes
